Join Stephen Burns for the upcoming Death Valley Photography Workshop. The workshop will span 3 ½ days and we plan to photograph in many iconic places of magnificent Death Valley. These locations include the Mesquite Sand Dunes, Racetrack, Badwater and nearby ghost towns to name a few.
He will lead the group to each location at the best times for optimal light for shooting and guide the student as to what they should be looking for in lighting and composition.
We are accepting a maximum of 9 individuals so please contact us ASAP if you are interested.

Workshop Format
With such complementary skills, students will learn to improve their composition, shoot images for HDR to extend tonal range far beyond a single exposure, create panoramic images from a series of pictures, photograph stars trails in long exposures, capture the beauty of the night sky in a single exposure and creative photogrpahy techniques with "light painting". On a clear night we will choose a location to capture the spectacular night sky and star trails.
The format of the workshop is to shoot in the early morning and then have an image review and discussion in the afternoon followed by a late afternoon shoot and a night shoot. After each shoot we will select a quiet place to share and discuss our experiences. This discussion will be instrumental for improving students’ technique and vision as an artist.
Included with the workshop will be a session on Photoshop techniques geared toward landscape and nature photographs.
Cost: The workshop instruction fee is $795 per person. Each individual will be responsible for booking their own room as you can share a double bed room if you like.
