3D Modeling For 3D Printing Using Blender
Date/Time: June 29, 2025 10:00 am
Duration: 5 Classes, 1 per week for 5 weeks, from 10am to 1pm

In this class we are going to take a deep dive in learning how to build in Blender specifically for 3D printing.

3D Printers have come down in price tremendously. Companies like Creatlity, Anycubic, Prusa or Matter Hacker to name a few have become household names. For only a few hundred dollars you can have a high resolution 3D printing machine to bring your designs into the real world.

Two types of machines that we will address. They will be the resin printers (SLA) and the filament printers (FDM).

Printing Software to be used and discussed will the Chitubox, Lychee and Cura.

Blender 3D is an opensource 3D software package that allows you to build, texture, animate, create effects and 3D print. And it is amazing!! Top animators appear to be gravitating to Blender as their personal software to create with. This class will focus on getting to know Blender 3D as a software and how to build, texture and render your 3D visions.

You will learn 3D design in relationship to 3D printing:
